John Carmack's QuakeCon 2011 Keynote: addressing the static code analyzers

Aug 09 2011
Author:

The last week QuakeCon 2011 saw John Carmack (co-founder and CTO of Id Software) recounting his experiences with static code analyzers using three tools as examples: Gimpel Software PC-lint, Microsoft /analyze and our own PVS-Studio.

You can watch this video on Youtube.

In the past Carmack had given a positive response on PVS-Studio in his twitter.

Visual Studio C/C++ Programmers should try PVS-Studio. Painless demo download. You will find bugs. www.viva64.com.
